Escape with the "Day Tripper": A Tropical Old Fashioned Twist (and Mocktail!)
Who says an Old Fashioned has to be stuffy? We've taken our classic Old Fashioned Blend Sir-uhp and given it a tropical makeover with our 'Day Tripper' cocktail. Imagine the warm, spiced notes of our blend mingling with the smooth sweetness of coconut and rum – it's a mini-vacation in a glass!
Ingredients:
- 0.75 oz. Craftsman Old Fashioned Blend Sir-uhp
- 1.5 oz. White Rum (Omit for a mocktail!)
- 0.5 oz. Fresh Lemon Juice
- 1 oz. Coco Lopez Coconut Cream
Instructions:
- Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker. If making a mocktail, omit the rum.
- Add ice and shake vigorously until well-chilled.
- Double strain into your favorite glass.
- Garnish to your liking (a pineapple wedge or a maraschino cherry would be perfect!). Cheers!
